How this list is maintained.
Every sanctions list is downloaded and compared against its official source
every 6 hours. A list is only republished when its designations
actually change, so most checks correctly show No change — that is the record
of the list being verified, not a gap in checking. Each refresh is validated before it
goes live: a list that loses records, comes back empty or cannot be read is not
published, and the previous data stays in place.
